My sporting blood turned to water

Well, it has been a long time since I first thought of the Craigslist trading goal.. and much has happened.  I lost my home to foreclosure, filed bankruptcy and now am flat broke. But ... now is the time to renew my effort. I know I can do it. So here goes. I am starting again to trade my way to a clear Five Acres in Tennessee. Today I will find something I want to trade and list it on Craigslist to get the ball rolling again. Wish me luck !

First Trade Made !

The goal of having land in Tennessee is closer today, with my first trade completed. I traded three new pair of toe socks for a new National Geographic Dino Excavator toy for children. A lovely woman named Carla in Victorville, California, mailed the toy to me and I received it today. Yay ! This is fun. I think I have found a new hobby.

Following Kyle MacDonald's marvelous one year barter from a red paperclip to a house in Canada, I am aiming to trade from a pair of new toe socks to ten or more acres of land in Tennessee.
